As the Centennial Year draws to an end, one of its most special projects will be introduced in a weekend of walking tours. The Three Routes will be officially inaugurated on October 30 – 31.
The Three Routes are special walking trails which tell the story of the city through three distinguishing colors: white, blue and green.
The White Route goes through the White City and historic Tel Aviv.
The Blue Route runs along the city's coastline.
The Green Route follows the Yarkon River along Ganei Yehoshua.
Each Route includes key stations that highlight important sites and prominent inhabitants. The stations are marked by special solar tiles. Information about each station can be heard through any cellular device, by dialing054-4004414 and pressing the route and station number.

The White Route begins at the point where historic Yafo meets Neve Zedek and Ahuzat Bayit, passing through the heart of Tel Aviv-Yafo and tracing the city’s development over time. The Route passes through the heart of the White City, in the area recognized by UNESCO as a world culture heritage site in 2003. The Route reveals important stages in the city’s history and expansion and provides information on significant architectural phases in the city.
