The numerous community projects being planned will reflect the diverse groups and populations comprising the city, achieved through multifaceted, long-term processes. Widespread and proactive public participation in the various events is an important principle underlying all the community activities. It will enable residents to act within the municipal sphere and reinforce their sense of belonging to it. By spearheading initiatives and activities, the different groups residing in the city will manage to enhance the interactions between their own members and with other groups as well – leading to increased community empowerment among Tel-Aviv-Yafo's residents.
