It's over: The Tel Aviv-Yafo Centennial Year ended officially in a festive ceremony at Bialik Square.
Assembling at the historic spotat on Bialik Square, where the Centennial Year opened nine months before, Mayor Ron Huldai and members of the Centennial Year Committee marked the end of a year like no other.
The highlight of the ceremony was the opening of Beit Ha'Ir – a new museum of the history of Tel Aviv, located in the historic municipal building on Bialik Square. The museum will host exhibits and events focused on the city's heritage, and will also be home to the 24,000 historic photos collected from residents of the city as part of the Revealing the Hidden City project.
