The Centennial Opening Concert

The most exciting moment of the opening ceremonies will take place at Rabin Square on Saturday night, April 4, 2009. Tel Aviv-Yafo residents, joined by guests from abroad, public figures and the city's elders, will fill the entire square.
A 360° rotating sound and light show, projected on the homes surrounding the square and on the Municipality's façade, will be one of the evening's highlights.The festivities will also include a concert by the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by maestro Zubin Mehta, in addition to performances by prominent vocalists and actors.
